Terms of Service

Build or Skip is a product-research service that surfaces domains and product opportunities using estimated order levels, rankings, trends, registration dates, and related market signals.

The service is designed to help you decide what deserves further research. It does not provide merchant-reported results, verified revenue, verified private order records, financial advice, investment advice, legal advice, or a guarantee that a product or opportunity will succeed.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Build or Skip for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.

Some features require Google sign-in. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for activity under your account, and for keeping your devices and sessions secure. A Pro plan is intended for one account holder and may not be shared, transferred, or resold unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Rankings, order quantities, growth labels, trend charts, domain registration dates, and other outputs are estimates or directional research signals. They can be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or affected by shared domains, attribution limits, data-provider changes, and model assumptions.

A domain registration date is not a product launch date. A domain appearing near a payment channel does not prove merchant ownership, a completed payment, profitability, customer demand, or legal rights in that product.

You are responsible for independently validating any product, market, commercial, technical, legal, and intellectual-property decision before acting on the service.

You may use Build or Skip for lawful research and internal business decisions. You may not misuse the service or interfere with its operation.

• Do not bypass access controls, plan limits, rate limits, or security protections.
• Do not scrape, crawl, automate, bulk-download, mirror, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service or its reports without written permission.
• Do not reverse engineer the service or use it to build a competing dataset or substantially similar commercial product except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Do not upload malware, probe infrastructure, disrupt other users, or use the service for fraud, harassment, infringement, or unlawful activity.
• Do not present estimates from Build or Skip as verified orders, verified revenue, or merchant-confirmed facts.

Build or Skip may offer free and paid plans with different limits. Current prices, billing periods, included features, taxes, and renewal terms are shown before checkout. If you purchase a subscription, you authorize the payment provider to charge the selected recurring amount until the subscription is canceled.

Paid checkout and payment-method processing are handled by a third-party payment provider. We may store subscription status, plan, billing period, provider references, and payment-event records needed to grant access and resolve support issues, but the payment provider controls its checkout and payment-data handling.

Unless a different rule is shown at checkout or required by law, cancellation stops future renewal and access continues through the paid period. Refund eligibility depends on applicable law and any policy presented at checkout. Contact support for billing or cancellation help.

Build or Skip, including its software, interface, branding, written content, rankings, presentation, and compilation of outputs, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

You retain ownership of feedback you choose to provide, but you grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or payment to improve and operate the service. Do not send feedback that you are not allowed to share.

Build or Skip relies on third-party infrastructure, authentication, analytics, email, data, and payment services and may link to third-party websites. Their products, availability, content, terms, and privacy practices are controlled by them. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to separate terms.

We may add, remove, suspend, or change features, data sources, rankings, limits, prices, and plan benefits. We may also restrict or suspend access when needed for security, maintenance, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or protection of the service and its users.

We aim to keep the service useful, but we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. We may correct or remove data and outputs when they are unreliable, outdated, unlawful, or no longer supported.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Build or Skip is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchant attribution, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or commercial outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Build or Skip during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100 if you used only a free service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits apply only to the extent allowed by law.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or misuse the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and payment obligations—will survive.

We may update these Terms as the service or applicable requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material and notice is required. Continuing to use the service after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
